Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are a great way to quickly clean up mess. The best robot vacuums and mops I tested had great mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.
They're also simple to use with an application that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're up to.

If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that can mop, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's one of the combination robot vacuums that have mops that are also offered at a lower price than other models.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to get started, including setting up an account on the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've completed that, the machine will start vacuuming and mops with ease.
It's important to note that mapping takes some time, and it may take a few times before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection feature is not perfect. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features the ability to rotate in a manner similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned and not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places robot vacuums cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's surroundings and provide an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you customize various settings that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging base at the end of each job to clean their pads, empty the dust bins and put the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps to keep the system tidy and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power and a rotating brush that is ideal for hard floors and carpets and an excellent obstacles-avoiding. It also features an innovative mopping technique that uses a roller constantly spraying with water to collect dirt, and then dump it in the water tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without crashing, and staying clear of stairs. However, it struggled with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also relatively high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to a regular schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all the functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, and even alter the cleaning preferences. The main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which can be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of them.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that is able to wash and dry the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they need to be cleaned.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home, so it can know what to stay clear of. In addition, unlike other vacuums with mopping capabilities it also has detection of objects and obstructions that is able to avoid things like bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
robot vacuums cheap has some outstanding notable features, like the self-emptying dust bin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room in your home.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to cut down on time, it can even avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. It's an excellent option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but don't want to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option if you are looking for a versatile robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for wet messes. It offers a broad range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own and the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and is able to easily move around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of rugs, and its battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly device that packs powerful suction and handy automation into a sleek. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming however, it did very well. It also comes with a variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It will even automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller spaces. It's quiet and quick and is a great choice for maneuvering around tight spaces. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair from carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as 'not located', so that they will not be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and aren't connected to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as well at mopping. It makes use of disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bot's bottom and drags them across the floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
